The Friends of the Park Rapids Area Library are always welcoming new members. The Friends meet on the first Thursday of every month at 10:00am downstairs at the Park Rapids Area Library. To join the Friends, please complete the application at the bottom of this page. Applications are also available in the library or at a meeting.

When is the Friends Monthly meeting?
We meet on the first Thursday of every month at 10:00am downstairs of the Park Rapids Area Library.
Do the Friends meet outside of the Monthly meeting?
Yes, a group of Friends members meets weekly to sort donated materials in preparation for our book sales. Please contact us for more information.
How much does joining the Friends cost?
Annual Membership dues are $10 for an Individual Membership or $20 for a Family Membership.
Do the Friends have Family Membership options?
Yes, the Friends offer Annual Family Memberships for $20.
What are the expectations of Friends members?
Friends members may assist with book sorting, volunteer to work book sale shifts, or help with other library events.
Are meetings open to the public?
Yes, Friends meetings are open to the public! Come and say hello!
